- Elmer Wildmo 1882-1950
Elmer Wildmo, resient of Winsor township for the past 50 years, died suddenly at noon, Monday at the County Memorial hosptal in Bagley, only a few hours after he had entered there for medical treatment.
In failing health for several weeks, his condition became critical Sunday and sank rapidly in the last hours of his illness. His family was called to the bedside in advance of death.
Prior to his extended residence in the Gonvick community, Mr. Wildmo resided at McIntosh and also at points in Sargent county and at Red Tiver, North Dakota, where he was born December 22, 1882, being almost 68 years old. His parents were Adrian and Beret Wildmo, early settlers in North Dakota.
He married Miss Thomina Hofstad of Oklee on April 11, 1925 at Bagley. His wife together with a daughter, Miss Alice of Minneapolis, and sons, Warren and Wesley, survive him. A number of distant relatives also survive.
The funeral to be conducted by Rev. E. M. Berg, is being held at 1:30 o'clock Thursday at the United Lutheran church at Berner. Interment will be at Bethany-Saron cemetery under direction of the Slagerman Funer Funeral Home. [1]
