- John Gregor died last Saturday, July 1, 1950. Funeral services were held for Mr. Gregor Wednesday, July 5 at Fort Ransom. Mr. Gregor was 82 years of age and had resided at Fort Ransom for 63 years. Rev. G. B. Sandanger officiated.
Mr. Gregor was born in Norway May 12, 1868, and settled at Fort Ransom in territorial days.
He leaves Mrs. Gregor, whom he married in 1889; five sons, Arne of Leeds, N.D., Leif of Portland, Ore., John of San Diego; William of Minneapolis and Julius in New Mexico: four daughters, Mrs. Albin (Dagny) Hilde, Fort Ransom, Mrs. Nora Snapko Portland, Ore., Mrs. Ed (Esther) Moyle of Virgina, Minn., and Mrs. Leif (Evelyn) Terry, Orem, Utah, three brothers, Olaf and George of Fort Ransom, and Julian of Minneapolis, two sisters, Mrs. Martin Lund and Mrs. Tina Henrikson, Fort Ransom; 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
